We have looked into finding a home in Duck for about 5 years but never found the perfect fit. We got in touch with Sandy and she really helped us find what we were looking for. She was always very attentive and great at making sure we had all the information we needed to make a good choice. Dan and Sandy are THE BEST!! They are both pros at what they do and they know the Outer Banks region like no one else in the market! They helped us purchase a second home in Duck and while we were familiar with the Outer Banks from previous summer vacations, they were able to share such valuable advice and counsel regarding specific areas and homes to consider (and those to avoid). Sandy LaRue is an extremely professional agent. I have been buying and selling real estate on the Outer Banks for over 30 years. Sandy is the best agent I’ve ever used. She knows her market, she has good judgment, she gives good advice but still ultimately defers to her client, and she knows how to negotiate a deal. Sandy worked with my wife and I to buy a home in the Outer Banks. We really were unsure where to start. She asked a lot of questions to understand our preferences and then went to work to get some homes set up. As she showed the various homes she continued to ask questions about likes and dislikes to better hone in on what we were really looking for. We looked in Southern Shores and Duck and knew these would be where we wanted to buy. She also showed sound side and ocean side homes and we were able to clarify that we wanted ocean side. Her questions and local knowledge really helped us make decisions. She did a really nice job of distilling our thinking and presenting it back to us so we could confirm. We found a home and Sandy, with her local contacts helped us with really good home inspector and also helped us navigate the potential need to move our septic system to install a pool. She also got us set up for closing and again helped us navigate that process. We closed and began to move in. We discovered a small issue as we were doing some remodeling. I made a call to Sandy to see if she could help me find a local contractor. Now at this time the deal was done and she was under no obligation to do anything. She made a few calls and had a contractor stop by that day to help me figure out what I needed. Truly above and beyond service. Sandy is easy to talk to, very customer focused and really has the pulse of the local area. We would highly recommend her and her team to support anyone’s home buying needs.

I cannot say enough good things about Michele. She helped us find our dream home in the OBX and we couldn’t be happier with our entire experience, from finding our house to signing the papers at closing. Michele went above and beyond the call of duty and left no stone unturned. She was, and still is, available day and night via text, email, or phone to answer any question, be it big or small, and is always very responsive.
